Home bound
We are homeward bound tonight after more than two weeks in Tokyo. An overnight flight from Haneda tonight. I can't say we accomplished absolutely everything we planned to get done on this trip but certainly the majority of tasks. Having the two weeks to tackle these tasks was a good idea. Time to sort through our belongings here, decide what to do with them and plan accordingly.
We will keep our condo in Aobadai and eventually rent it. 95% of the remaining items in it will be given away or eventually taken away as trash. There will need to be some minor work done on the condo in order to rent it. The upgrades, repairs and enhancements will serve us well when it comes time to sell it. But for now, we still have a home in Tokyo.
I enjoyed being back in Tokyo (my second home), seeing several good friends and neighbors and daily morning walks in the 'hood. I didn't see as much of Tokyo as I hoped on this trip. The priority was on tiding up loose ends since our move to Vancouver and ensuring there is a plan for the future.
